The number of inspections SecureBuild undertakes during a project depends on the type of building project being undertaken.
Standard HBC contributions (premiums) cover a minimum of three inspections:
- Lock-up (pre-lining)
- Final (completion).
However SecureBuild may do more inspections if:
- A builder is new to the industry
- A building project is complex
- A building project is a multi-dwelling
- A building project is high value.

If a homeowner would like SecureBuild to undertake more inspections, they can purchase up to seven (7) more inspections, depending on the building project.
Additional inspections cost $250 per inspection.
For complete peace of mind, a homeowner may wish to purchase SecureBuild’s Platinum inspection service which is seven additional inspections at a cost of $1500.
