Mr. Peter Rose
Peter is a deep domain general insurance strategist, gained from experience in chief executive roles for two start-up insurance companies and divisional head in others, with 10 years of consultancy experience.
Peter recently completed a 5-year assignment in Christchurch (2011 to July 2016), where he was the founding Chief Executive of the special purpose run-off earthquake claims insurer and Crown-owned company, Southern Response Earthquake Services Ltd (formerly AMI Insurance).
Until 2011, Peter worked as a consultant for more than 10 years, including being a founding director and principal of Finity Consulting and subsequently a free-lance consultant for a further 3 years afterwards, operating as Peter Rose and Associates, specialising in strategic and operational assignments.
Prior to joining the consultancy profession in the late 1990s, he was the founding Chief Executive of AA Insurance Ltd and GIO in New Zealand. In that capacity he was instrumental in the initiation and management of the marketing, product development, operational and sales aspects of the business in its first three years of operation.
Earlier, he had leading roles in establishing the NSW Treasury Managed Fund government insurance arrangements (now within icare) and radically reforming the former NSW monopoly CTP operations.

In 2002 Brian was the co-founder of Claims Services Australia (“CSA”) a company specialising in outsourced Motor Vehicle and Property Claims Management services to insurers. From a green field start, CSA developed into a business employing 130 staff with an annual turnover of $25M at the time of its sale to the Innovation Group 2011.
Prior to this Brian held senior roles at Lloyd & Mathur Management Consultants (1989 – 1997) and KPMG (1975 – 1986).
